In preparation for the Turtle Nesting Seasons which will open in February and March respectively, the Forestry and Lands Management Department in the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Energy, Science & Technology urges all citizens to play their part and help keep Saint Lucia beautiful and debris free.
The Ti Kaye family has therefore taken the initiative to schedule a monthly beach clean-up activity for Anse Cochon Beach. This will take place every 3rd Thursday of each month. This effort will rid the beach of plastics and debris which hinder the nesting of these precious creatures and help create a sanitary environment for every beach user and our wildlife.
