Ti Kaye’s main restaurant has a small wine room inside the restaurant. It was an afterthought but it has made such a huge difference to our dining experience. While not a large collection by international standards, we can boast that we do have the widest selection of wines on the island. The room contains over 100 different bins. I can’t peg the number as it does change from time to time. I would love to put the wine list on line too but that also changes with supply; we are at the mercy of on island distributors.

To compliment the wine room is Cleus. You will meet him in the restaurant should you stay here, he often gets positive comments made about him by past guests. He started off as wait staff and took a real shine to wine pairing. I would say it’s more than a shine now, its passion. His first visit to Barbados was to work with some more experienced persons in wine and most recently he travelled to Italy to visit a few wineries and vineyards. Please ask him to suggest a wine for whatever you are eating if you are unsure of what to get. If you get the chance, try the wine tasting on afternoons.

The wines we carry vary from old to new world, red, white, rose and sparkling. They are reasonably priced and we do not have any intentions of changing that in the near future. It’s best to compare them to other wine prices on island and not from where you live since we have no control over our taxing policy on wine imports.
