News About Ti Kaye Village
Ti Kaye Village Resort & Spa wishes to advise our clients that we will be implementing a planned closure this year from September 20th to October 24th 2010 to conduct repairs, refurbishment and some new construction in certain critical areas where it is impractical to do so with the resort open.
We also try every year to improve the quality of Ti Kaye‘s product and offer more to our guests. By the end of the year you can expect the following changes:
1. We will be removing the bar from where it is now, and it will be relocated cliff side where our lounge currently is. This will also come with building improvements. This will give the Bar a more dramatic and stunning view as well as an increase in size and comfort.
2. The lounge will be relocated to where the bar currently is and improved. This will create more lounge space and improve the quality of the lounge.
3. We have already renovated the Gym. Now with glass windows, a wooden gym floor and air conditioning, guests can work out in a more comfortable environment.
4. We will create an underground wine cellar below the main restaurant and now boast the largest selection of wines on the island and perhaps the southern Caribbean. Our WSET trained wine steward will be on hand to assist with selecting and pairing for any guests who desire this assistance.
5. We will make our free wifi internet service available over the entire resort. Soon guests will be able to surf from the comfort of their balcony, hammock or any other location.
6. We will be replacing many of our beach umbrellas with the more Caribbean styled ones made from wood and grass. These are large and more stylish and we know our guests will most certainly prefer it.
7. Lastly, we will be using the opportunity of the summer closure to do some in room fixing up and also our kitchens will receive a well deserved refurbishment. There will also be other property improvements, too numerous to mention here.
Therefore, we will not be taking any bookings during this travel window. However, our reservations department will be open during normal working hours from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday during this time.
